Mark arrived in Gainesville in 1991 to attend the University of Florida. While in school he helped form the popular band Big Sky. After graduating with a degree in Telecommunications he and the guys toured the country for eight years sharing the stage with artist such as Sheryl Crow, Matchbox 20, Sister Hazel, and the Wall Flowers. Mark points out that they also played many “shows in small towns with ten people in the venue, and half of them worked for the club.” He adds, “I enjoyed having a chance to meet different people and see the country first hand while singing for a great band. Does it get any better?”

After the band bid farewell in 2005 Mark earned his Real Estate license and in less than two years has become a multi million dollar producer. During this time Mark also served as the office manager for Fisher, Butts, Sechrest and Warner, a real estate and construction law firm located in Haile Village. Mark enjoys building long term relationships where customers become friends. "Cornell and Associates share this vision and I look forward to growing as a realtor as our company grows in the community.” Mark holds a Florida Mortgage Broker’s license and is continuing to educate himself in the many facets of Real Estate. He and his wife live and work in Haile.
